In order to minimise health risks to our patients and staff, we are currently cancelling any routine check-ups. We are still open for emergency appointments such as pain, swelling, bleeding or abscesses. For other problems such as broken teeth, lost fillings & lost crowns with no pain, please contact us; at the moment as treatment is still quite limited we will be able to offer an assessment of the problem and plan for future treatment.
In the case that you experience any of the above, please email us at email@example.com, with your name, date of birth and contact number. If calling the practice on 01295 273112, please call between 9am- 5pm Monday - Friday, or leave us a message. Somebody will be in contact with you to assess and arrange an appointment.
Due to the corona virus outbreak we are requesting that all patients that have recently experienced a new persistent cough or have a current temperature (of 37.8 degrees centigrade or higher), to NOT attend the practice.
All patients being booked in will be required to answer covid-19 screening questions before their appointment, as well as upon arrival to the practice. Payment for all appointments and treatment we request is done by card and contactless payment where possible.
Our hygienist routinely cleans teeth, monitors gum condition and offers advice on oral hygiene and diet.
If your dentist recommends an appointment with the hygienist it is because signs of gum problems have been diagnosed and you will benefit from the care in both active treatment and preventive advice that the hygienist can offer.
Our hygienist now has the latest equipment for stain removal. This treatment is primarily used to remove staining built up on teeth caused by smoking, tea, coffee, red wine and other food stuffs consumed over a long period of time.
Although this is not strictly a whitening treatment, patients have commented on how much cleaner and whiter their teeth appear. The treatment is quick, painless and works by air, water and carbonated particles being projected at high pressure onto the tooth surface. The treatment is non-damaging to the tooth surface.
